Makemusic Finale Worksheets Fix

Download --->>>

Designed for K-12 students of general music, theory, band, orchestra, and choir, these worksheets (and puzzles) help teach basic elements of music. Covered topics include counting, scales, chords, music vocabulary, and more. Because they're provided as Finale files it's easy to edit them to your specific needs and print them out, or distribute them via email to be printed with the free Finale NotePad.

Finale's worksheets are available in the HD/Library/Application Support/MakeMusic/Finale 2012/Music Files/Worksheets & Repertoire/Worksheets folder. The answer key PDFs are located loose on the Finale 2012 DVD in the folder "Finale Worksheets Answer Key."

Last week I had a great time in Bellevue, Washington, at the MENC Northwest Conference. As is often the case when I meet with music educators, the subject of how to create worksheets came up. Because worksheets are typically not made with a performance in mind, they often look very different from most other Finale projects.

To easily access all of Finale's worksheets, choose File > Open Worksheets & Repertoire. Finale's worksheets are available in the Mac HD/Library/Application Support/MakeMusic/Finale/Music Files/Worksheets and Repertoire/Worksheets folder (see Finale Installation Details). The answer key PDFs are located on the Finale USB in the folder "Finale Worksheets Answer Key."

As I see it, a much better facility for teaching is Finale Reader 2010, a free download from which allows you to view, play back and print Finale 2010 documents. This means that you can email students their assignments, or host them on a college intranet, and they can work on them at home (or anywhere else) if they wish. Orchestra and band parts could also be usefully distributed to all and sundry in this way (assuming no copyright restrictions), banishing in perpetuity that tired 'I lost the music' excuse! 1e1e36bf2d
